There are a lot of reasons why people love to explore this part of England. East Sussex traces its history to the ancient kingdom of South Saxons who occupied the county and established themselves after the departure of the Romans. Very different from what we know today, this eastern part of Sussex was into fishing, iron-making, and wool trade industry once upon a time. The timeline for when it had declined cannot be confirmed, but the Eastern Sussex had lost these industries completely. Today, East Sussex inspires the tourists with its medieval streets. It is also in this place where you can find the historic battleground where William the conqueror first engaged the Saxons in 1066. The place also offers awesome nightlife and shopping centers for the benefit of the tourists.
