Situated in Surrey, Weybridge is the home town of motoring and aviation. It holds the key to some of the most outstanding engineering triumphs. It was here that the first ever purpose build racing circuit in the world was constructed, areas of which are still visible today to remind the locals and visitors alike of the amazing heritage that Weybridge has to offer. Not only that, it was also the birth place of Concord. The Brooklands museum is where you can find all the magical history behind the motoring and aviation that Weybridge has to offer. They have frequent events on weekends and school holidays. It is a great place to take the kids as they will be able to get up close to some of the greatest machines ever build.
Conveniently located only ten minutes drive away is Mercedes Benz World. Here you can try out being a raceing driver for yourself. Why not park up your hire car and put one of the top of the range Mercedes Benz through its paces, whether it be on the race circuit or wet skid ring you will be guaranteed a thrill. If off roading is more your thing they have a course for that too, with their 4x4 experience. Not forgetting the kids, they can also have that exhilarating feeling. As at Mercedes Benz World there motto is 'if your feet can touch the pedals, then you're old enough to drive'.
Of course there are plenty of other things to do in Weybridge, but driving and its heritage has to be the best thing to do.
